Csalad / Family

Mult hetvegen Mary-ek latogattak meg minket. Nagyon orultunk, mert persze sok 'Leozas' is belefert a hetvegebe. Az unokatesok szeretettel es figyelemmel halmoztak el a kislegenyt, amit o feletebb elvezett, es leginkabb vigyorokkal viszonzott :-) Nagy sikere volt a jumperoo-nak (ugralos jatek), es Robinak koszonhetoen Leo megtanult repulni! En pedig meggyozodtem, hogy Zsofibol ovono lesz :-)

Last weekend Mary & family visited us. It was lovely as they could spend a lot of time with Leo. Of course, he got showered with love and attention from everyone. The jumperoo was a hit, and thanks to Robi, Leo learnt to fly! And personally I'm convinced that Zsofi will become a nursery teacher one day :-)

Vania and George

Vania and George came over yesterday as now they live very close to us in Teddington. George was born 2 weeks after Leo, and is now 3.5 months old. He is a big boy - 9 kg already! The two boys had a little play date, George even tried the jumparoo, and Leo kept turning towards George on the playmat, grabbing and eating his hand :-)

Vania es George tegnap meglatogattak bennunket - kozel laknak most mar hozzank Teddingtonban. George 2 hettel Leo utan szuletett, es most 3.5 honapos. Nagy fiu, mar 9 kg! A fiuk jatszottak egy picit, George kiprobalta a jumparoo-t, es a jatszoszonyegen Leo folyamatosan George fele fordult, megfogta kezet es probalta megenni :-)

Baby carrier / Babahordozo

We've had a bit of a fiasco with baby carriers. First bought a Baby Bjorn, then were advised that the Ergo Baby was much better. Well, neither we nor Leo thought so - we couldn't put it on properly, and Leo hated being in it. Finally, we returned it to John Lewis, and exchanged it to a Baby Bjorn again. And it seems to be a big hit! Leo looking around in his usual 'I don't want to miss a thing' fashion. I've used it inside the house a couple of times already, but Leo's first trip was on Sunday. Straight away, he ended up at the ice cream counter in Waitrose..

A babahordozokkal egy kisse megjartuk. Eloszor egy Baby Bjorn-t vettunk, de aztan ugy hallottuk, hogy az Ergo Baby sokkal jobb. Hat se nekunk se Leonak nem jott be a dolog - mi egyreszt nem tudtuk normalisan beallitani, Leo meg utalt benne lenni. Vegul visszavittuk a John Lewis-ba, es visszacsereltuk egy Baby Bjorn-ra. Na, vegre ugy tunik, ennek vegre sikere van! Leo imad mindenfele nezelodni benne, persze semmit nem akar kihagyni. En hasznaltam mar egy parszor itthon, de vasarnap vegre hazon kivul is felavattuk. Az elso ut a Waitrose-ba vezetett, egyenesen a jegkrem pulthoz...

Rugby

My boys watching rugby on Saturday... obviously Leo was just as keen.

A fiuk szombaton rugby-t neztek a TV-ben... lathatoan Leonak is bejott.

Birthday present / szulinapi ajandek

Leo has turned 4 months old today! His bday present for us is turning from his back to his tummy, and back to his back again - a full flip over! He was so cute as he surprised even himself when he did it :-)

Leo ma 4 honapos! Szulinapi ajandekkent meglepett bennunket, es a hatarol teljesen a hasara fordult, majd par perc mulva vissza megint a hatara. Olyan kis edes volt ahogy magat is meglepte, hogy mit csinalt :-)

Swimming / Uszas

Ma volt Leo elso uszas oraja, es a kis srac olyan volt mint hal a vizben :-) Elvezte, bar eleinte azert elegge meglepedve nezelodott. Kedvenc volt a haton lebeges, kevesbe jott be a viz ala bukas. Azt meg gyakorolni kell! A kepek a szerkot mutatjak, specko cucc :-)

Leo had his first swimming lesson today, and he took to it like a fish to water :-) He enjoyed it, although to begin with, he did look rather surprised about the whole thing. His favourite exercise was floating on his back. He wasn't too fond of going under the water... we still need to practice that! The pictures show the outfit, specific to baby swimming :-)

Reggel / Morning

Ma 6-kor keltunk, nehany kudarcba fulladt probalkozas utan, hogy az urasagot kicsit tovabb az agyaban tartsam.. (Etetes, jatekok stb)

We woke up at 6 this morning, after a couple of failed attempts to keep the little Mr in his bed a bit longer... (Feeding, toys etc)

Small cot / Kisagy

If all goes well, last night was Leo's last night in the small cot. Here's a reason why it's time to upgrade (pic from this morning, pants got changed during the night..)

Ha minden jol megy, mult ejjel aludt Leo utoljara a kisagyban. A lenti foto ma reggelrol erzekelteti, hogy miert is lesz jo mar a nagy agyban (a nadrag ejjel lett kicserelve..)

Sajat szoba / Own room

Holnaptol kezdjuk Leo alvas 'oktatasat'.. Elso lepes, hogy a sajat szobajaban, es a nagy agyban fog aludni. Elkeszitettem az agyat, es beleraktam Leot, hogy szokja a dolgot. Latasra tetszett neki a dolog, bar szegenykenek fogalma sincs, hogy mi var ra.. :-(

Leo's sleep training is starting tomorrow. As a first step, he will start sleeping in his own room and his large cot bed. I got the bed ready today, and put him in to get used to it. He seemingly enjoyed it all, but poor little thing has no idea what's in store for him... :-(

2 January

Today is the first day in a while that Leo and I are on our own as Rich is now back at work after the holidays. We sent him this picture of our morning walk on Richmond Green to cheer him up!
